UConn Baseball Falls to Houston In Extra Innings

In an extra-inning affair at Schroeder Park in Houston, UConn Baseball took a 6-5 loss to the Houston Cougars after 10 innings. Houston held a 5-0 lead after five innings but the Huskies fought back to force extra innings.

Shortstop Anthony Prato, second baseman Conor Moriarty, and Isaac Feldstein, who added two RBI, each had two hits. Tim Cate gave the Huskies eight innings of work, allowing four of his 11 hits and three of his five runs in the first inning.

Connor Wong started it off with a lead-off home run and after three consecutive singles and a passed ball, it was 3-0.
