UConn Baseball Drops Game 2 to Houston

UConn Baseball lost to No. 28 Houston, 9-1, on Saturday at Schroeder Park. It is just the second time the Huskies have lost the first two games of a weekend series.

Mason Feole pitched well outside of one bad inning where he allowed six runs, five earned. Four of his six hits allowed also came in the second. Designated hitter Tyler Gnesda had the lone UConn RBI.

Corey Julks led the second inning off with a walk and scored on a throwing error by catcher Zac Susi on his attempted steal of third.

The Cougars took four hits, two walks, and a passed ball over the rest of the inning and turned it into a dominant 6-0 lead after two innings.
