Two men were taken to the hospital early Sunday morning after a shooting in New London, according to local police.
After a report of shots fired, New London police responded to area of Shaw and Ann streets just after 12 a.m. Sunday, police said in a press release. At the scene, officers found a large group of people and also found a “semiconscious gunshot victim” in the street.
The victim was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, which is in New London. At the hospital, police learned that another male gunshot victim also arrived and discovered that the second man had been injured in the same shooting.
