Two people are dead, and one is injured, after bloody early morning clash in Meriden, police said.
Tania Roman, 41, died at the hospital, they said. Cornelius Nicholson, 38, of Center Street in Wallingford, died at the scene, which was Roman’s apartment at 76 Lincoln St.
According to police, officers responded about 12:45 a.m. to a report of a violent altercation in Apt. 2N. When they arrived, they encountered a man on the front porch who had stab wounds. The man was identified as Kevin Burch, 56.
The officers were told there was a woman in the apartment who also may have been stabbed, police said.
