State police have warned residents in Tolland near St. Matthew Church to shelter in their homes Saturday afternoon after several armed suspects ran from a car crash.
The exact location of the crash was not immediately clear but the alert warned that “several males” ran from the crash near the church on Tolland Green.
“Suspects are believed to be armed with handguns,” according to the alert. “Call 911 to report any suspicious activity. Secure yourself in your residence or place of business.”
