Police say victims of a serial rapist tell similar stories of meetings with a Windsor man that started with small talk and ended with disorienting drinks and sexual assaults.
Three arrest warrants obtained Wednesday detail charges against Akin Warner involving two alleged victims in Ellington and another in Windsor. Another arrest warrant alleges Warner raped a fourth victim in Windsor Locks and is a suspect in two more sexual assaults in California.
Held on bonds totaling $2.25 million, Warner faces four counts of first-degree sexual assault, three counts of second-degree sexual assault, three counts of risk of injury to a minor and one count of illegal delivery of liquor to a minor.
