Three people found unresponsive in an SUV in Stamford Thursday have died of what detectives suspect were drug-related deaths, police said.

A resident noticed two men and a woman who appeared unconscious in a Toyota RAV4 about 9 a.m. and called police, Capt. Richard Conklin said. The caller had noticed the SUV about 5 or 5:30 a.m., but didn’t think anything of it, he said.

When first responders arrived, they found the 31-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man had died, but a younger man, 29, was still alive, he said.

The younger man was taken to Stamford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead hours later, Conklin said.
