Officers responded about 6:20 p.m. to a report of shots fired, and someone down in the road, at Grand and Elm streets, police said. Arriving officers found the lifeless teen in the street; paramedics declared him dead.
Detectives were called to the scene and they continue to investigate. The deadly shooting does not appear to be random, police said.
