Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the driver of a Honda Civic that they said struck and seriously injured a 22-year-old on I-384 in Manchester early Wednesday and left her lying on the highway.
Troopers at the Troop H barracks in Hartford began receiving 911 calls about a person in the travel lane of I-384 east, west of Exit 4, at 12:01 a.m. When they arrived, they found a woman lying on the highway with traumatic injuries that were consistent with having been struck by a car, state police said.
The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment, and troopers began investigating.
