State police said they are looking for witnesses to a deadly, one-car crash in Shelton Thursday.
The wreck happened about 4:50 p.m. on Route 8 south, one mile north of Exit 12, they said. Demar K. Thompson, 46, of Bridgeport was driving a 2002 Land Rover Range Rover south when he lost control.
The Range Rover went off the road, down an embankment and into a wooded area, where it struck a tree, state police said. Thompson was take to Bridgeport Hospital, where he later died.
