Troopers are asking for the public’s help in identifying the victim of a fatal crash in Rocky Hill Monday.

They have been unable to determine who the driver was, or even what kind of Ford vehicle left the highway shortly before 5:40 p.m.

State police said the driver had been heading north on I-91, north of Exit 23, when the vehicle left its lane and went onto the grass median. It then struck a concrete bridge support and came to a rest on top of a guardrail, facing south.

Anyone who saw the crash or has information that may help investigators is asked to contact Trooper John Wilson at the Troop H barracks at 860-534-1098 or john.
