Stamford police ask for public’s help in finding suspects in deadly stabbing

Police have released the name of the man who they said was fatally stabbed outside a Stamford bar over the weekend and are asking for the public’s help in identifying his killers.

Isaias Sagastume-Aceituno, 37, of Stamford had been left for dead on a city sidewalk, police said. A resident found him suffering from stab wounds about 9:20 p.m. Sunday in front of 115 Stillwater Ave. and flagged down a patrol officer.
