Six days after he disappeared into the fast-moving waters of the Housatonic River in Salisbury, the body of a Southington man was recovered Friday, state police said.
William Dehnel, 38, had gone into the river May 15 and never resurfaced. He was out with friends on the riverbank when he used a rope swing to jump into the water, Trooper Kazimera Morse said Monday.
