Now that the NHL Entry Draft is over, each team in the league is holding their development camps, in which prospects under contract and free agents alike can be evaluated against their peers.

This year, six incoming and current UConn men’s hockey players are in camp with the teams that hold their NHL rights in addition to three former Huskies.

Two incoming freshmen are in camp with Nashville in Jachym Kondelik and Tomas Vomacka. Kondelik was selected in the fourth round, 111th overall in last week’s draft and Vomacka was a fifth-round selection in 2017.

Kale Howarth, who will also head to Storrs for his freshman year in the fall, is spending the last week of June in Columbus with the Blue Jackets.
