Search crews will return to the Connecticut River in Haddam Tuesday to look for a swimmer who disappeared Monday.
The swimmer had been in the river at Haddam Meadows State Park. Word of his disappearance brought the state Department of Energy & Environmental Protection and state and local dive teams to the river, said DEEP spokesman Will Healey.
State police are among the searchers, a trooper at the Troop F barracks in Westbrook said Tuesday morning.
