Rollover crash shut down I-84 in Farmington, injured 3, including child

State police said they are looking for witnesses to a one-car crash on I-84 in Farmington Monday that seriously injured two people, including a child, and forced them to shut down the highway.

The rollover crash happened shortly after 2 p.m. in the highway’s west lanes, before Exit 37, they said. Naomi Marie Brown, 21, of New Britain lost control of the 2011 Hyundai Elantra she was driving and went off the highway, struck a guardrail and rolled over in the right shoulder.

Brown was taken to Hartford Hospital to be treated for injuries that police said seemed minor.
