Report: Kemba Walker to join New York Knicks

Kemba Walker, a man who needs no introduction around these parts, has reportedly arranged a buyout for his contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder and will be signing with the New York Knicks as a free agent, according to multiple reports including Woj and Shams.

Kemba Walker is finalizing a contract buyout with the Thunder and the New York Knicks will sign the four-time NBA All-Star as a free agent, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

After starring at UConn and leading the Huskies to an improbable 2011 national championship, Walker was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats with the 9th overall pick and stayed with that franchise for eight seasons, making the NBA All-Star game in his final three.
