On Thursday, the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame released the names that will be under consideration to make the final ballot for enshrinement in 2018 and there were multiple UConn connections on the list in Ray Allen, Rip Hamilton and Dee Rowe.

Allen spent three seasons in Storrs (1993-96) and led the Huskies to three Big East regular season titles followed by three NCAA Tournament appearances, making it to the second weekend all three times.

He scored 19.0 points per game in a UConn uniform and is fifth in program history in points (1,922).

However, Allen is known for his 3-point stroke.
