Kevin Ollie’s UConn Huskies (5-9, 0-3 American) are enduring some hard times. Down three players, possibly dealing with some infighting, and struggling to get a win in the American conference is about as far from ideal as a basketball team can possibly get.
Once seemingly on the cusp of turning things around after a disappointing start, the Huskies have lost four straight. Now ranked 119th in the country by KenPom, the Huskies welcome a conference opponent to the XL Center which few would have predicted would be doing better than them at this point in the season— the UCF Knights.
