Hartford police said Sunday that “multiple weapons” were used in the fatal shooting of a teenage boy Saturday, but they do not have suspects in that case or the death of a 3-year-old boy shot only hours earlier.

“As of now,” Lt. Aaron Boisvert said, “there are no suspects, but we do have evidence we hope will give us some leads.”

The mood in the North End neighborhood where the killings occurred was “sadness and shock more than anger,” neighborhood activist Bridgitte Prince said.

“We’re trying to get this to stop... It’s got to stop,” Prince said of the ongoing gun violence.
