Police investigate “brazen” store break-in in Windsor Locks

Police in Windsor Locks are looking for a red pickup that someone drove into a gas station convenience store early Friday, tearing off its front door.

The trucks’ occupants apparently intended to take something from the Valero at 269 Main St., Lt. Paul Cherniack said Friday. It wasn’t clear by mid-morning whether anything had been stolen.

Police received multiple 911 calls about the truck about 3 a.
