A 33-year-old pedestrian who was walking on Route 2 in Glastonbury early Wednesday was struck by a car and killed, state police said.
The Cromwell man was in the east lanes, west of Exit 11, walking against the traffic when he was struck shortly before 4 a.m., they said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the 2014 Honda Accord Sport was taken to Hartford Hospital to be checked for possible injuries, state police said.
Troopers ask that anyone who saw the collision or was driving through the area with a dashboard camera around 4 a.
