A man told officers he was beaten by more than a half-dozen people, and his girlfriend was stabbed, after other drivers forced him to stop his car in the middle of a Hartford street Sunday night, police said.
The man told officers he was driving his girlfriend home on New Britain Avenue when he noticed several vehicles following him, they said. A car then got in front of him and suddenly stopped, forcing him to brake as well.
Several men got out of their cars, and when he got out of his vehicle to confront them, he was beaten by about seven men, police said.
