Troopers arrested a Texas trucker at the Southington rest stop Wednesday night after they learned he was a suspect in a Pennsylvania homicide, state police said.
Tracy Rollins, 28, of Cedar Springs Road in Dallas, was taken into custody as a fugitive from justice, they said. He is in custody at the Hartford Correctional Center on $1 million bail.
According to police, Central District Major Crimes detectives took him into custody about 11:30 p.m. after they learned from the Pennsylvania State Police that Rollins had been identified as a suspect in a deadly shooting in West Buffalo Township, Pa.
