While there is plenty of intrigue for UConn Football as the start of the 2017 season nears, there is no doubt the program is in a much, much better place than it was at the end of last season. Improbably, David Benedict has steered this thing in the right direction. The game day experience is vastly improved, the new coaching staff has implemented strategies from this century and also added critical talent at key positions.
