Nine people were displaced by a fire in Hartford’s Behind the Rocks neighborhood Tuesday night, a fire official said.
The fire in a 2.5-story house at 27 Harbison St. was reported shortly before 10 p.m. and was knocked down in 10 minutes, District Chief Mario Oquendo said. No one was injured.
While the damage wasn’t throughout the two-family house, inspectors determined that the house was not inhabitable, and the four adults and five children who live there could not return.
