Tiffany Ferrauto, the New London woman charged with killing her 4-year-old son, was held on bonds of over $2 million and put on a suicide watch Monday.
Farrauto, 33, is accused of strangling her son Sunday. She has been charged with murder and risk of injury to a minor. Judge Shari Murphy ordered that she be evaluated for competency to stand trial. Farrauto is due back in court on March 22.
She has no criminal record, a bail commissioner told the court, but when asked where she had been living, Farrauto responded with a series of numbers and said she had been living in a squad car.
