New Haven Police investigating multiple shootings over the weekend

Police said that they responded on Saturday at about 10:45 p.m. to a Shotspotter alert and multiple 911 calls of two people being shot on Button Street, between Lamberton and Rosette streets. Responding officers located two 28-year-old New Haven men suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police. Both men, who police did not identify, were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital where they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries and listed in stable condition.

On Sunday at about 1:10 a.m. officers responded to multiple 911 calls of a person being shot on South Genesee Street, near the intersection of Harper Avenue.
