New child pornography charges filed against former Plainville swim team volunteer

The former Plainville swim club parent-volunteer accused of secretly filming girls as they changed into swimsuits has been indicted on federal charges of distributing child pornography.

A grand jury in Hartford this week indicted Kyle Fasold on three child pornography charges that could result in a prison sentence of up to 80 years if he’s convicted.

The indictment adds an entirely new allegation against Fasold, 50, who has been jailed since early March when he was accused of hiding spy cameras at Plainville High School’s locker room and in his home bathroom to film underage girls. He is charged with two counts of producing child pornography in connection with that.
