A New Canaan man is being held on $200,000 bond after being arrested Friday in connection to four robberies in Fairfield County last year.

Wayne Currier was charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, alongside a charge of second-degree robbery and second-degree larceny, police said.

Three of the bank robberies occurred in October, with two on Oct.13 at Stratford Chase Bank and Fairfield People’s bank. About two weeks later, on the 28, there was a reported robbery at New Canaan People’s Bank.
