New Britain man sentenced to three years in prison on drug charges

A New Britain 28-year-old man was sentenced to three years in prison for dealing fentanyl and crack cocaine, police said.

Jordan Flythe, 28, was arrested in February 2020, and pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute and the distribution of fentanyl and crack in October. He was sentenced before U.S. District Judge Vanessa L. Bryant Wednesday.

The FBI’s Northern Connecticut Gang Task Force, comprised of officers from Hartford, East Hartford, West Hartford, New Brian and Connecticut State Police departments, “identified Flythe as a narcotics distributor who supplied various gang members in the Hartford’s South End,” the news release said.
