A motorcycle rider was killed Monday night after colliding with a tractor trailer truck near the Interstate 91 south and Route 5 interchange in Hartford.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. on the southbound side of the highway near the off-ramp to Airport Road, police said.
Airport Road was shut down between Locust and Brainard roads while Hartford Crime Scene Division officers responded to the scene, Lt. Paul Cicero said.
