Michelle Troconis appears in court day after second anniversary of disappearance of Jennifer Farber Dulos; trial unlikely until 2022

A jury trial in the case against Fotis Dulos’ former girlfriend Michelle Troconis is unlikely to occur until next year while Connecticut’s courts begin this summer to slowly work through a backlog of other trials deferred since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Troconis has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and evidence tampering charges in connection with the presumed death of Jennifer Farber Dulos, who authorities believe was killed by her late estranged husband but whose remains have never been found.

She appeared at a virtual court hearing Tuesday morning before Stamford Superior Court Judge John Blawie just one day after the two-year anniversary of the last day Farber Dulos was seen alive dropping her children off of their New Canaan school.
