A car accident near Independence Drive in Mansfield left a 17-year-old boy fatally injured Monday afternoon.
The vehicle, driven by a 17-year-old, was traveling with two passengers on Mansfield City Road when it ran off the roadway and hit a tree.
The two other passengers in the car, another 17-year-old and a 16-year-old, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Windham Hospital, state police said.
