Paul Ledda of Torrington was pronounced dead at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after the crash, which happened shortly before 11 p.m., they said.
Police said he lost control of the ATV at the intersection of Albert and Lewis streets. He went off the right side of the road, struck a street sign and went into some bushes. He was found on the sidewalk, they said.
