Police have arrested a man who they said is responsible for a string of armed robberies in Branford and East Haven.
Marc Lawrence Judd, 44, of North Branford was arrested Wednesday and charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, plus fifth-degree larceny and engaging an officer in pursuit, police said. More charges are expected.
According to police, the holdups happened Tuesday, one after another. First, there was an attempted a robbery in East Haven and carjacking at the rest area off I-95 north in Branford.
