The turnover for UConn Men’s Basketball continues. After Glen Miller’s firing, Raphael Chillious’ hiring and the transfers of Steven Enoch and Vance Jackson, Class of 2017 recruit Makai Ashton-Langford has received his release from the program.
He announced his decision with a tweet on Friday, saying that he has reopened his commitment “due to recent turn of events,” likely a reference to the firing of associate head coach Glen Miller.
Ashton-Langford committed to the Huskies on September 5, kicking off a span of three verbal commitments to Kevin Ollie’s team for 2017 in 15 days.
