On Monday morning, UConn men’s basketball got another commit for the class of 2018 when Lukas Kišu016bnas tweeted that he had committed to the program.
Kišu016bnas, a 6-foot-10 center from Lithuania who will be playing at Brewster Academy, was on campus for an official visit September 25 and only took one other visit, to Illinois on September 29.
He had 16 other offers, headlined by Pittsburgh, Providence and Purdue as well as local schools like Boston College and Northeastern.
The former high school teammate of recent commit Sidney Wilson played for Lithuania in the Under-18 European Championships this summer and showed an ability to rebound and put the ball in the basket, averaging 8.
