After opening their season with four straight games on the road, the UConn Huskies men’s hockey team hits the ice at the XL Center for the first time this season against the Maine Black Bears.
The Huskies are 2-2-0 on the season with wins over Army and RPI and losses to Quinnpiac and No. 5 Providence. The Black Bears, are also 2-2-0 with two wins over St. Lawrence and two losses to Minnesota Duluth.
All-time, the two teams have face-off 11 times, eight of which have come in Hockey East play. UConn has held the edge in conference play with a 4-2-2 Hockey East record against Maine.
