Scary news out of the NBA where current Celtics and former UConn guard Kemba Walker needed to be stretched off the court after suffering a potential neck injury.
Walker chased after a loose ball and collided with teammate Semi Ojeleye. The top of Walker’s head crashed into Ojeleye’s stomach and the former UConn star immediately went down in a heap. Trainers immediately quickly called for a stretcher when they reached Walker.
He did not appear to move while receiving medical attention, per MassLive. However, Kyle Draper reported that Walker’s eyes were open and blinking as he was carried off.
