Almost a week after a fiery crash in Greenwich killed Devon Dalio, the son of billionaire philanthropists Ray and Barbara Dalio, medical examiners and local detectives are still working to determine what caused the incident.
Devon Dalio, 42, died Dec. 17 when the car he was in crashed into a Verizon store in the Thruway Shopping Center and caught fire. Everyone else in the store was unhurt and escaped but Dalio did not.
Police have spent the past week interviewing witnesses and analyzing evidence, but some results are still pending and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has not issued a ruling on the cause of Devon Dalio’s death, Capt.
