Hartford police on Thursday arrested a Somers man who they said tried to kill his mother’s boyfriend during an argument over beer.
Shawn Boulier, 39, of Main Street was charged with criminal attempt to commit murder and first-degree assault, they said. He was in custody Thursday on $850,000 bail.
Police characterized the stabbing as an act of domestic violence. The victim, who is 68 years old, is recovering, police said.
