Hartford police arrest 6, recover 11 stolen cars in operation

Hartford police arrested six people and recovered 11 stolen vehicles Thursday during an operation targeting car thieves and suspects in recent incidents of gun violence.

Three of those arrested, including one juvenile, have all been arrested on previous auto theft charges in just the past two weeks, Lt. Paul Cicero said. Four of them have been connected with four other stolen vehicles in addition to those found Thursday, he added.

Louis Ramos, 20; Nelson Colon-Davilla, 19; and Franky Roman, 20, were all charged with several counts of larceny, conspiracy and operating a chop shop — a charge applied when three or more stolen vehicles are found at the same location, Cicero said.
