Hartford man wanted in Windsor Locks teen’s murder, police say

Police said they have obtained a warrant for the arrest of a Hartford man in the fatal shooting of a Windsor Locks 16-year-old last week.

Daniel Phillip Baez, 22, whose last known addresses were on Clark Street, Chadwick Avenue and Main Street in Hartford, may be armed, police said. They never found the pistol used in the homicide.

Police plan to charge him with murder, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal use of a firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit, they said. When arrested, his bail will be $1 million.

Baez is 6 feet tall and weighs 160-170 pounds.
