Hamden police are investigating a shooting early Sunday morning that led to the discovery of a man shot several times and lying in the street at another locations. The man, who police did not identify, was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident began at about 1:50 a.m. when police responded to the report of a shooting, that occurred in the parking lot of 940 Dixwell Avenue.
Officers responding to that incident discover that a 29-year-old male that had been shot. Police said the man, who they did not identify, was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he underwent surgery.
