Derrick Miller, 57, of Pine Rock Avenue was arrested Thursday at Superior Court in Meriden and is in custody on $2 million bail, they said. Miller was already in custody after his previous arrest on gun charges that are connected to the Dec. 16 homicide.
On that day, police said, Darlene Brown was found sitting in the driver’s seat of a car at Pine Rock Avenue and Arch Street with multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead a short time later.
Miller was found lying on the ground outside the passenger door with a gunshot wound to his torso, police said.
