George Springer put together a World Series performance for the ages. After going 0-4 with four strikeouts in Game 1, the Astros centerfielder and former UConn star was the best hitter for the last six games and shattered a slew of World Series records in the process.
Since his golden sombrero in Game 1, Springer was 11-25 through Games 2 to Game 7, where he helped the Astros get off to a hot start with yet another home run.
"I remember swinging and hearing the sound of the bat," Springer said.
