A 19-year-old New Haven resident was shot in the legs Friday night as he sat on a three-wheeled motorcycle on a road in the city’s Hill neighborhood.
Somebody called 911 around 9 p.m. to alert police to the shooting on Hallock Avenue between Third and Fourth streets, according to Capt. Anthony Duff.
An ambulance took the victim to a hospital, where he was reported in stable condition as of 10:30 p.m., Duff reported. Detectives are investigating and asked anyone with information to contact them at 203 946-6304.
Police so far have not specified whether the victim was riding or parked, and haven’t said if he was alone at the time.
