A former Coventry man charged in March with posing as a teen to try to entice minors to engage in inappropriate behavior was ordered Friday to stay off social media as his cases progress through court.

Zachary Vannais, 25, who now lives in Charlton, Mass., has been free since March on $60,000 bond, and prosecutors asked a judge Friday to amend the conditions of his release to include requirements that he stay off all social media platforms and not have unsupervised interactions with minors.

Vannais was charged on March 5 after a lengthy investigation by Conventry police and state troopers from Troop C in Tolland.
