Fairfield police look for vandals who spray painted anti-Biden messages at school, store

Fairfield police said they’re looking for vandals who spray painted phrases critical of President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on a store and on school property.

Early Wednesday afternoon, a board of education employee found that a sidewalk at McKinley Elementary School, 60 Thompson St., had been vandalized, police said. When officers arrived, they found the words “United States of China” spray painted on the sidewalk and found the same phrase on a mound of snow in back of the school’s parking lot.
